Product Details

Vandlgard nut is threaded onto bolt normally using a standard wrench. Wrenching hex separates from the cone nut at predetermined torque level. Installed Vandlgard nut presents a smooth, tamper resistant surface with constant clamp force.
To remove, thread on second Vandlgard nut and twist off hex. Remove the remaining conical nut. Install this conical nut in the inverted position. Squeeze both nuts firmly with vise-grips and remove both nuts together. Original bolt is undamaged and ready for reuse.
