Product Details

Extra high density PTFE tape provides superior sealing performance and increased reliability.
Prevents leaks on worn threads, and seals imperfections for maximum reliability.
Easier to handle & apply than regular PTFE tapes.
U.L. listed under CHM1677 Pipe Joint Tape 14710 and 12780.
Resists chemicals, acids, alkalies, caustics, corrosives, fuels, gases, refrigerants, solvents and other aggressive compounds.
High density tapes resists stringing and shredding.
Meets Mil Specs. T-27730A and AA-58092.
Withstands pressures up to 10,000 P.S.I. (rated 2,250 P.S.I. for hazardous, flammable gases).
Temperature range -450° to +500°F.
May be used on all types of metal and plastic pipe threaded connections.
